I was driving my car with my 6 year old daughter in the back seat, in Dade County, FL. She was not wearing the seat belt. I was fined with a seat belt violation. I have tried to find the definition for seat belt violation with not success. Please confirm if it is unlawful to drive a vehicle in Dade County, FL, with a six year old child with no seat belt.
