I am from Michigan and we have MCCA benefits here. My question is the limits increase every year in July. How does one know what is their limit if they are ever in a serious motor accident? Is the limit for the year you are in the accident or would it be possibly years later when ones medical bills exceeds the limit of that year? If the injured catastrophic persons medical bills exceeds the $375,00 in 2010 does the MCCA kick in or does it have to exceed the $460,000 in 2010 before the MCCA will grant benefits? Thank you for your time.
