If someone has congestive sleep apnea and uses a medically prescribed CPAP device which successfully alleviates the condition, is this considered a condition which must be reported to the persons auto insurer in the state of Wisconsin? The Wisconsin Department of Transportation does not ask questions about this specific condition on the Wisconsin drivers license application (the only question asked is whether the applicant lost consciousness while driving during the past 2 years), and with the use of the CPAP device, there is no impairment of the ability to drive safely.
